Surgical Procedures for Rotator Cuff using BioTend
BioTend may be used in open, mini-open or arthroscopic procedures. Utilizing BioTend in an open or mini-open procedure presents little technical challenge as compared with undertaking the procedure without the augmentation device. The use of BioTend will extend the total time of an open or mini-open procedure by only an additional 10 - 15 minutes. The arthroscopic procedure requires additional technical expertise and will add approximately 20 - 30 minutes to the length of the procedure.
